Brief opinion about the demo version of Beyond: Two Souls.

Good day, friendly! Played in the demo „Beyond“. I will say right away, the previous Currication of Quantic Dream did not impress and did not affect how most of the playing. Average detective with good graphics, no more. But this is so, an unnecessary retreat.
Let’s move on to the game itself, more precisely to the part of it, I hope brief, because I will play with pleasure in this game.

Control. Unusual, part was borrowed from Hevi Rhine (pushing the keys, otherwise QTE), they added a slope, and it is justified that without it it is unlikely that it would be possible to perform script blows, because the dynamics are high. Walking is also similar to the rain, only this time the “step” is transferred to the left stick, which cannot but rejoice, but the camera review does not allow to inspect the space around. 180 degrees the limit.

Satellite. Isid (Aiden – https://jackbitcasino.uk/ to whom it is more convenient) – a rather funny „character“. From the demo it becomes clear that it can equally harm and help Jody, which makes the game process more interesting and makes you act carefully. Aiden is subject to almost everything, whether it is windows, bottles, cars and others like them. He is also able to master bodies (yellow auras) and kill (red auras). The distance „flight“ is not very large, but the game is not a sandbox. In general, Aiden is a good companion, and Jody will often ask him for help.

Possibilities. As I said, the key value in the gameplay will be assigned to Aiden. He carries both contemplative and auxiliary-destructive functions. With his help, we will be able to eavesdrop on someone else’s conversation, find the place where it will be possible to hide, make the NPC become PC and obey us, killing allies or helping to get out of Jody’s division, kill someone, or just have fun, scary people. Aiden, as a canonical spirit, can “travel” through the walls, however, for some reason, not through absolutely everything. So far, this is all that I managed to find out.

Variability. Passing this demo for the first time, I tried not to fight with all my might, to perform QTE on time and the like. However, he soon realized that this is not required. I will give a couple of examples:
1) Action on the train. You can run away from the police: get out of the corridor window and then on the roof of the train;If you are seized, you can fight back and climb into the toilet, where, having done a hole in the ceiling with the help of Aiden (opening the hatch), again get out onto the roof of the train;If you managed to fail here (you didn’t open the hatch quickly enough), then after you are seized and put in the compartment, you can move into a policeman guarding you, free yourself with its help and calmly throw your mortal body from full speed, train to the forest.
2) Already in the forest, hunting begins for you. Send dogs, dragons with langolers (joke) and you need to run. Fighting dogs in a QTE scene can climb onto the rock and wait until the police pass by, holding the button. If the button is released at the wrong time, or if the dogs were grabbed, you will be placed in a car with a guard in the front seat. There are also several moves here: you can strangle the guardian of the law with your own hand, or provide it to Aiden. In the case of a successful escape, you requisition a motorcycle and leave. The same scene awaits you if you do not come across the police, only Moroki is less – it crept up to the motorcycle and left.
I will not describe further, I think you already understood that you do not need to despair if you make a mistake somewhere-the variability of actions allows us to make mistakes.

Graphics. The picture stepped forward compared to XP, albeit not very, but noticeably, and in my opinion so far, Beyond is the most beautiful, in terms of graphics, playing PS3. Soap and forest was not noticed.

Music. She is in the game on top. At the right time, it overtakes the atmosphere, in another relaxes. I liked it.

Conclusion. Judging by the demo, if not a masterpiece magnificent in all respects, then an excellent, interesting game at least. It is difficult to judge 30 minutes by 30 minutes, but what I saw instills not hope, but confidence in a quality product.
